Hola!

My name is Paola and I am Peruvian – American mother of 2 beautiful children. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru and moved to the United States at the age of 22. I have been married  9 years to my Texas born and raised husband Sam. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and I take full advantage of it, mainly taking this chance to teach my children Spanish. My approach is simple: I just talk to them in Spanish, day and night, everywhere, anywhere. It doesn't go without saying that it has been, and it is, a difficult journey. I have been tempted to give up, but I have decided I won’t. Let me share with you the resources I have been able to find, the products I have tried and the advice I have received, maybe it will help you too. If your household is anything like mine, where you speak Spanish and your husband/wife/partner speaks English, then I really hope you can benefit from my experiences. It takes more than a simple Google search to find help in this matter, believe me, I've tried.
